Adam Stark has worked in the film industry for the past 15 years. He started his career as a consultant and artist for some of the largest advertising agencies and pre-press companies in New York City. He created artwork, and imaging pipelines for a diverse group of clients including the Coca Cola Company and Newsweek Magazine. In 1993 he expanded interests toward the feature film industry by accepting a position as one of the first employees of Digital Domain in Venice California. Adam has been a featured visual effects artist, specializing in lighting/ compositing and pipeline development, on many movies including, Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney’s Dinosaur, Apollo 13, Interview with a Vampire, and Racing Stripes. In 1995 he started a long association with Walt Disney Feature Animation where he most recently, as a colorist, completed the digital intermediate color mastering on Disney’s Meet the Robinsons. In 2007 Adam joined the CASIT team at UCLA, utilizing his understanding of 3d imaging, production experience and pipeline development, with a vision toward bringing these entertainment based production skills into the field of medical imaging.
